“One thing I respect and appreciate from Nancy is that, if she doesn’t know the answer, she just says so. Then she tells me she’ll research it and get back to me and then she follows through and tells me what she’s found out." (E.D.) |

“Because she travels internationally she’s great with using the computer for travel research and planning.” (A.K.) |

Nancy's empathic expertise has been honed over two decades of using computers (Apple or PC) in computer laboratories, educational settings, government offices and non-profit organizations plus an equal number of years working through her own computers’ quirks and challenges at home. She knows all too well what it’s like to spend an entire day setting up a new computer and transferring all your old files to the new machine. She’s also been through a lot of long overnight sessions troubleshooting a balky computer or figuring out how to use a new software package.
A survivor of many computing classes, she also keeps up by trying out new hardware, software and internet developments herself, absorbing everything that goes on when she’s observing an IT person at work, asking lots of questions, doing a lot of web research, reading books and magazines devoted to computer use, and generally not being afraid to ask questions, consult technical support personnel or read instruction manuals. No kidding. She actually reads and follows computing instructions.
